Starting in 2024, the Ocrim Group, which has a strong presence in the Northern Brazilian market, will transfer 100% of its production and management to the region, which already has wheat mills in the cities of Belém (PA) and Manaus (AM), a pasta and biscuit factory in Ananindeua (PA) and a feed factory in Manaus.
The change is part of the company’s strategic planning, which focuses on concentrating its operations in the market that currently accounts for 90% of its business.
The lessee of the São Paulo operation, Tondo S.A. (Orquídea), a well-known and renowned wheat and wheat derivatives milling company, already has a bread and cake mix unit in São Paulo and in 2024 will open a long-fermentation, pre-baked and frozen bread factory, and will continue to produce and sell the products in the same Jaguaré unit.
We would like to emphasize that our customers and partners in the Southeast will not be at risk of shortages or shortages of Mirella flour, which is already so traditional in this market.
We appreciate everyone’s understanding and emphasize our commitment to transparency in our products and processes.
