ORGANICS

The OCRIM GROUP began production of Organic Wheat Flour in 2010, being the first large-scale mill accredited and certified to carry out this activity.

The mill undergoes four annual audits that ensure the maintenance and standardization of production and controls necessary to guarantee the quality of organic products. To guarantee all the provenance and organic quality of the products obtained, Ocrim sought double certification, through the following certifiers:

IBD

The largest certifier in Latin America and the only Brazilian certifier of organic products with accreditation:

  • IFOAM (international market),
  • ISO/IEC 17065 (European market-regulation CE 834/2007),
  • Demeter (international market),
  • USDA/NOP (North American market)
  • approved for bearing the SISORG seal (Brazilian market), which makes your certificate accepted globally.
Ecocert

One of the largest local certifiers of organic products, certifying more than 5,000 companies around the world and 35,000 producers. It has all the accreditations and authorizations to certify products according to all official organic regulations in the world.

ISO 9001:2015 IN MANAUS

ISO 9001 certification helps organizations develop and improve performance and demonstrate high levels of quality when offering their contract proposals. Certification occurs after successful completion of an ISO 9001 audit and allows the organization to:

  • Operate more efficiently;
  • Comply with legal and regulatory requirements;

FSSC 22.000

In this way, the OCRIM GROUP, is currently carrying out the necessary adaptations for international certification FSSC 22.000 V.5.1, focused on food safety in its units in Jaguaré/SP and Belém/PA.

SOCIAL SUSTAINABILITY - SMETA PROTOCOL

(Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit)

The SMETA protocol is an audit procedure consisting of a compilation of good ethical practices, developed to provide SEDEX members with information sharing related to business ethics. By undergoing a SMETA protocol audit, the organization can demonstrate its commitment to a responsible supply chain. The methodology of this protocol consists of four pillars:

  • Work standards;
  • Business ethics;
  • Environment;
  • Health and safety.

The Jaguaré/SP unit has been a SEDEX member since 2020 and has been adapting its branches to socio-environmental protocols.

ISO 9001 STANDARD

The ISO 9001 is an international standard that defines requirements for a quality management system. It is valued in all continents of the terrestrial globe. The ISO 9001 standard is the one that incorporates all the necessary requirements for an organization to reach quality standards in order to have a continuous improvement in its methods and processes and to satisfy its customers. It can help measure and evaluate results, avoid waste, reworking and improve the management of business activities.

The main market players adopt these requirements and seek partnerships with companies that adhere to this world standard. By meeting these requirements, the company becomes much more organized, with a greater degree of awareness of the context in which it is inserted, and is able to initiate better-structured and more efficient work processes.

The OCRIM GROUP is currently carrying out the necessary adjustments to meet this standard at its Ananindeua/PA unit.
